How much does your performance cost? How much does a wedding singer cost? What are the prices for an event singer?
The fee depends on many factors: the type of event, distance, duration, and how many musicians are involved. Please feel free to send me an inquiry so I can provide you with a tailored offer. Please make sure to include the date, the venue address, and the type of booking, e.g., wedding ceremony, champagne reception, dinner, corporate event, etc.
Get in touch to secure your date
How do I reserve my requested date? Booking and Payment:
Once I receive your inquiry, I will get in touch with you via email. In this email, I will ask a few questions and share my terms and all important information. If you agree and would like to book me for your event, I will email you a summary.
Please note that the booking is only binding once a 100% advance payment of the total amount has been made to the specified account within 10 days. In order to issue the invoice, I will need the following details from you:
- Your first and last name,
- Your email address,
- The name and address of the venue,
- The date and time of the event.
Since individual dates for wedding ceremonies during peak season can sometimes book up very quickly, I recommend inquiring about your requested date well in advance.
What do you need for the performance?
- As a rule, I arrive approx. 1.5 hours before the start of the event. The performance location should be accessible at least 60 minutes before the start for setup and soundcheck. It often happens that this timeframe is not possible at registry offices (Standesamt). We will clarify this during the planning process so that I can accommodate a shorter timeframe if necessary.
- I require a power supply on-site. Please check if there is a power outlet nearby.
- I also need a table with a tablecloth.
- If I perform outdoors, I will need protection from the sun or rain to protect the equipment.
- The mobile number of a contact person who can be reached on the day of the event in case of an emergency.
Do we need to provide the sound equipment?
For my solo performance at the wedding ceremony, I bring all the sound systems myself. A DJ will need to take care of any requirements for a more powerful sound setup.
How many songs are usually sung during a wedding ceremony?
Usually 3 to 6 songs, depending on the type of ceremony. While a maximum of 3 songs fits well during a civil registry ceremony, up to 6 songs can be sung as part of a church or secular/humanist ceremony (freie Trauung). Please discuss the possibility of live singing during the ceremony and your requested titles with your registrar or priest in advance.
Are custom song requests possible?
I am happy to learn your requested song free of charge if it is not already in my repertoire. One song is included; additional custom requests are possible for an extra fee. However, please understand that I cannot sing everything that is suggested or requested. I will first check whether the titles are vocally and musically feasible for me. I will need your final song selection at least 4 weeks before the event.
Can we meet in advance?
In the meantime, I refrain from separate meetings in advance, as I simply lack the time for this. However, we can gladly discuss everything via email or WhatsApp, and experience shows that this is completely sufficient.
Where do you position yourself in the church or at a secular ceremony?
As a rule, I position myself at the front so that you can hear me best. Additionally, the direct contact allows me to connect much better with you and your guests. However, I can also sing from the gallery/choir loft upon request.
Can we cancel a booking?
After booking confirmation, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. It hasn’t happened often that a performance of mine has been canceled. However, should this be the case for you, the following regulations apply:
- Cancellation up to 90 days before the event: 10% of the agreed fee,
- Cancellation up to 60 days before the event: 20% of the agreed fee,
- Cancellation up to 30 days before the event: 50% of the agreed fee,
- Cancellation up to 10 days before the event: 70% of the agreed fee,
- Cancellation from 7 days before the event: 100% of the agreed fee.
What happens if we have to postpone a wedding due to Corona?
If your wedding is canceled due to Corona, we can agree on a new date at no additional cost. Of course, this is subject to my availability on that date. If you decide to cancel your wedding completely on a voluntary basis, the cancellation fee stated in the contract will apply. In the event of official government bans, this constitutes a case of force majeure, in which case we will dissolve the contract at no cost.
What if you cannot perform due to illness?
It happens very rarely, but in this case, I will try to organize a replacement. If a short-notice emergency occurs and I am unfortunately unable to do anything, I will refund your money.
